Pashto in Peace : إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ

I hear rain drops talk to each other as they fall
A rain of pain showering on the many scared faces
While the rain drops choose the faces to fall on
The tears await the arrival of their bridegrooms
Did God think the rain will wash away the pain from faces
Did their prayers reach his ears?
As they look unto heavens, rather say almost heavens
their crippled hearts waiting in torn silence
their tears extending hands to hold the rain drops
I wish I could put a spell and freeze time for a moment
Take a mental picture and emboss it on face
The many faces on my face, a window for the world to see
To understand and feel, to realize what we have become
Monsters preying on monsters with faces like angels
The very many scars we hide behind those religious masks
Will the rain drops ever wash them away?
Those masks, scars and tears.
The scared look on their faces.. will they ever go away?
