My Psalm 32

Blessed is the one whose transgression YOU'VE forgiven!

I sat on my eyelids with a net weaved from time
Casting the net deep in the unending seas of desires
While you, My Lord, looked down from the heavens
With tears you must have pleaded my soul.
Had I not shut it from you, from the loving presence
Would I have avoided the sins and scars?

One after the other i fished them out
Some Gold, some Red and bright and some Black
Ran behind the unknown and mystique
Hiding beneath the deep oceans covering my heart
Had I looked up once, Had I remembered, Had I seen your tears
My Lord, I provoked you, provoked the jelousy.

For day and night your hand was heavy on me;

The nets tore apart with the fish I so desired
I fell from my eyes into the mazes of my mind
Lost, searching, not knowing what I was looking for?
For you had hidden the Light from me
Allowed Sheol to open and consume me in your great anger.

Had I pleaded, would you not have forgiven?
Engulfed in my pride I swung between the light and darkness
There he was, laughing at me, looking down on me
Asked, Has HE given up on you?

I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.”

Shrouded in confusion, mongering in dust I found the feet
Broke the glass filled with Myrrh to wash your feet
Dried them with my hair like She did.
Why did you not throw a stone at me like they did I wondered?
My Lord, broken is the soul. Light traded with obscure world
Yet I looked up and prayed - for forgiveness
The Lord told My Lord to lift me from dust and anoint me once again!

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;

I stripped my head off the pride and knowledge
Laid bare infront of your Love
Seeking your forgiveness to cleanse me
Your Word to cover me. Your hands to protect me.
Adonai, My Lord! How you so eagerly came to my aid.
What seemed to be a million miles away from me
Was just a prayer away. I asked to be taught.
Teach me about the way I was designed to follow.

Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!
