The Lemniscate

The skies met up with the seas
it was full of their love story as far as my eyes could see,
The roads dancing to the tunes of the thunders
Trees dressed in their best gowns
What brought the romantic scenery to life was Rain
Not strong, not violent, not overwhelming
Just enough to bring the poem out of my dying soul

The vast Ocean showed me I was nothing
My worries, my dreams, my confusion, my world, my poems
They seemed like these waves
Coming at the shores one after the other and disappearing
I should say, intertwined. But belonging to the same oceans.

The blues so blue and the greens so green
that my eyes could capture the beauty no more
no more than my imagination could hold in a tear
I walked into the waves
into the waves that came crashing towards me
I was searching for my wings
I was wondering if they would wash ashore

What does the heart seek?
What doe a prayer seek?
the serenity of the romance stilled the time for a while
The long and winding empty roads reminded me of the old
What does the poem seek?
Who are you?

I see the numbers are forming an infinity
Perfecting the art of showing a pattern
Two infinities, two polar opposites
He is like the Sky, clear blue, clear black
A home to stars, beautiful and mysterious
A home to the Moon, the most elegant creation
A home to the Sun, the source of Light and hope
People looked at the stars, the moon and the Sun
Wrote poems about them. Wanted, desired them
But the Sky? It never belonged to no one
The Sky was infinite, everlasting
The only thing that could contain the Sky was Time
Yes, an infinity encompassing another infinity
It is time that can bring it to an nice ending!
Numbers, time, they formed an infinity.
