Songs of The Sea

You know what, listen to the waves. Stand there and listen to their songs
Someone on the other side of the world might be dancing, causing the ripples
Someone on your side could possibly be pouring out tears into the same waves
May that ripple bring you joy, wash away the pain, consume the darkness and bring forth light
All of us have stories that we pour into these seas
Sometimes, the stories are too complex to put into words
We can just let them into these waves, believing someone, somewhere is causing the happy ripples
And someday, may be you fill find one on your side, bringing the calm you so desire
I look at these little kids flapping their feet in the water
I see a tiny ripple filled with joy going back to the seas
I wonder how large it would become by the time it reaches you
But the positivity and joy the kids infused into waves are so strong
Strong enough to reach the worlds away from them
At the same time I see this young man standing in silence
Would I dare ask him why?
At times, you dont have to ask questions to find answers
The oceans in his eyes make it clear enough
Should I say the ripples he creates are sad? No!
The emotion he infuses into these waves need a vessel to contain them
Now, not every bottle can hold it. Can they?
Listen to the myriad of songs the seas sing
The time will take you and me away. Our places will be replaced
But the ripples we leave will always remain in the seas!
