A Random Story
Like the beautifully crafted
sequence of notes in a random gig the romance brewed out of nowhere
Wonder if the heart was high
with wine filling it up shooing away the timid child
What was a pure moment when the
laughter turned into an intimate exchange of thoughts
Silent were the lips and the
eyes talked out loud with an occasional intervening by the young beating heart
Turning into a beautiful story
that will remain untold to the world, hidden away in a trove of poems.
All it took was a moment to
forget the distance and time for the young love drove past fear
Making the night look and sound
more beautiful when the souls once strangers became dear
Like the clay in the potter's
hands the poems turned into the beautiful vases
Painted in curious Love, young
untamed Love dressed in the robes of passion.
Tell me your stories my Love,
Let me write the poems about the stories
Let them be black, let them be
white. For even the Night Queen has a scar, what good is a human.
Poems written in calligraphy
about your happiness breeding his pain
Oh ever so mighty and strong
heart of his, wriggle in pain like the woman in labor
For what you breed is a lame and
unloved painting about the weak side of you.
Seek the truth said the poet,
seek the truth behind the fiction in your head said the poet
Let them not hear the cries, let
them not see the tears for there is no book large enough
To hold the poems about the
nights, about the memories unraveled
Seek the silence said he, set a
sail and let the Words adrift
For the illusive world built
within can't contain the poems about the truth!
Let me tell you about my world
painted in colors
said the poet
Show you around holding the reds
and blues together
For the darkness hidden beyond
the rainbow couldn't be contemplated said He
Break the time, the time that
laughs at the poet from afar
But would it have laughed had
you not let it, he wondered.
Pity... Pity...
Like the beautifully crafted
sequence of notes in a random gig the sweet agony brewed out of nowhere
