When the winter disappears...

The voices grow louder day after day
Playing hide  and seek in the darkness
While I sit and they to understand what they are singing
Are they singing? A requiem? But why?
The farther I run and hide, the louder it gets
The crowds, they are different? Aren't they I wonder.

Winters are disappearing while the newness blooms everywhere
Winters that make you cry finding their way into loneliness
Will the Sakura ever see the winters again?
Sakura bloom with the Spring, in the Spring...
The beauty of Sakura glitters in the Sun while the winters make her sad

Why does it feel so cold? Why is the poet cold?
Why is it always cold? May be the heart has grown old
Or may be it has fallen in love with the ageing time
Call him cold hearted for the poems could never reach the Sakura
For the poems find comfort in pain. It was and will always be.

Sing it out loud, the song of requiem.
For the ink is growing thick and the bottle dry
No matter where he runs, pain is what the poems need
Words feed on pain while the heart grows colder
And the darkness growing louder while the demons smirk
Sing the requiem for the man voices inside will die when the other he is born.
When the winters disappear, the beauty will bloom in the Spring
I see him disappear into the winters while the crowds gather for the festival
When the winters disappear, the laughter will echo.
