A Requiem
The Sun locked himself away among the dark clouds
Silver lines painted in thick black at the mercy of the hands of the clock
Oh the voice! I hear it loud and clear now.
Who is it walking in the corridors unlocking the doors? Do I know?
Yes I do!
The smile, the walk, the voice I remember from the past.
In the wars we fought together and the souls we plunged out,
the mercy we let go to lose the virginity of goodness
In the wars on the cold winter nights the blood we painted ourselves with..
I remember the voice and the steps...
But why do you laugh? Were you not in repose?
The war between the souls inside,
the ones you lead and the ones I lead lay at rest
in the bottom of the lost doors buried away from the rest...
Why do you laugh? Why did you wake up!

Let the minors ring out loud and echo in the castle
For the friends and foes are about to feast on the souls
the soul born of the soul sold to the war...
Let there be no more locked doors,
For the re-birth has awakened many lurking deep within
To the surface, to the banquet hall they sing
What a joy! Joy in the minor scale? I wonder what music is breeding.
Who is it walking in the corridors? Do you need an invitation to enter your own castle
Lets celebrate the re-union,
Lets celebrate the re-birth!
Oh what a beauty, the red moon is!
