Perverted Faith

Weave the threads of religion into a blanket to cover the crimes
Crimes breeding underneath, a hatred for a brother in Green
A mother in Saffron, a child in White, painted in black
Drenched in red, covered in mud!

Human first and a religious person next
Just a simple yet forgotten principle
Driving the hearts and brains towards Heavens unseen
Faith, I wonder took  a different form
Perverted by the priests across the worlds
Making brothels out of religious places
Corrupting the pure hearts and raising dogs!

Born in a family that prays Idols
Born in a family that serves faceless Gods
Born in a family that believes in His existence
What difference does it make if they forget about humanity?
About one principle every religion pretends to preach,
Love the neighbors! Love the People as they are!

What Womb knows and teaches religion?
I wonder which religion i practiced inside the womb?
What religion does Love preach?
Share the blood, share the food, share the pain and agony for good
Age with time, with people, watching the Love blossom
Into something beautiful, a child, a grand child
Into the World full of smiles on the faces of children
Untainted and pure! Hearts bound and brought together by Love!

If only The God can come down and tell it himself

Will we still be able to understand and follow it?
