Winter Romance

Cold winters bring romance with them,
As if the summer has gone into hiding in the fog
Lines of dark skies singing the songs of Love
With the Moons dancing to the groove

As my fingers dance on the strings
As if teasing her, while the worlds outside goes mute
Sometimes high and sometimes low
A perfect tune as the midnight Sun envies the lovers on the run!

Fish out the music from her lips says the Moon
For whats an obstacle between us but a dark cloud
What lies beyond the cloud is desire to pull the strings
Slide down the neck said the heart, for the melodies lie at 24!

1 to 6 we danced, sometimes 1 to intensify the warmth
And sometimes the 6th for the bass fell in love with the breathe
Whose my favorite i wonder;
Job keeping my hands busy
while the minds wandered in the deep dark skies

 

Circling the full moon and often peeking
At the crazy dance beneath from atop the hills

No frets to skip and tangled in the 3rd
The tune went on and on from the frets 5th to the 7th
Too many numbers i said to myself, calm down i hushed my racing heart
For in the Love behind the closed doors engulfed was I

Where could i not travel? To the Paris where the arts walk in the streets
To the Moon,  the source of Love poems
Or the dark winter skies breeding romance here and there
Lets fly away said she, who do we need but each other
Lets make Love all night long and sing songs of our own
For the World is gone mute just to hear us sing together,
Lets fly away said she!!!
