Black Waters

Set the soul afloat on this river of dark waters
On the day when the Moon is high and blazing in her glory
Taking a trip down the lane of distraught thoughts...
Naked, free and open.... He floated!

With his eyes looking straight into the dark skies
He wondered... Do people really become stars when they die?
Endless beauty... Sparkling even in death!
Or is it the rotten flesh, somewhere deep inside the womb of Earth?

Dead Bride and Dead Groom danging while the coffins rot
While the leeches in the black coats suck on the green bills
From the marrows of the God made machines,
His soul a little high due to excessive intake of poetry
With a smirk he sang!

Whats beneath? And whats above? Nothing but dark, never ending thoughts
Who cares when the Sun will rise,
Who cares if the Strings are rusty, Lets play the tune he says,
Let it snap in its prime than rust and rot away doing nothing!

Who needs a body, who needs skin
when the romance calls, even the bonces dance
Be it up above among the stars,
Or down below the Earth,
All it takes is a moment and a call!

Let the streams of this river take me to the seas
Where the soul will sink, deeper into the silence
Says He... I wonder if it will be the stars or the earth beneath the water
What will the Soul choose...
To dance among the stars or among the bones!
