Infinities...

As he stood in the midst of the lonely never ending roads,
No voice could be heard but the one with in,
The infinite skies started to to race against time!

A gaze into the infinite dark heavens above
Couldn't resist to distract, just to find yet another infinite World
Right before his eyes, extending till the horizons his shallow eyes could see!

When the magic of love between the heart and the mind started to vanish
Helpless and in vain he said to himself... Just one more mile!
Knowing it would be the same infinity that he has to pass through
Never to reach the destination he set!

It has been a long journey, with a handful of smiles
while the first born conceived was nothing but pain...
Knowing once he decides to rest, it will be the end of the journey...
The more he faked the smiles to see smiles,
the louder the voice from the thin air became...

Cowardly enough to stop the journey,
still clinging on to the passing faith, he thought he would walk
But, will the demons let him be? He never knew
Nor did his words speak of!

A war within, a battle he started to loose
engulfing the conscious and sane poet began to dominate the will
Seeking silence and solitude, his demons drove him off the path
Knowing that the journey will end soon...
He started towards the distorted destination

To find the rest for all time... To break all the chords clinging on to
A place where the need to conceive fake smiles
And the strength to tame the demons with in would not be needed anymore
The cowardly heart of his will have to pass through the toughest test
Before the journey ends!
Before the infinities would no more be called infinities!
